My Emporio Armani Glasses Became Sticky and Lenses Deteriorated Over Time

I purchased a pair of Emporio Armani glasses about 4–5 years ago, expecting long-term quality from such a well-known brand. Unfortunately, both the frame and lenses have deteriorated badly. The frame material has become sticky and rubbery, as clearly visible in the photos. I didn’t think much of it at first, but this year the lenses developed strange bubbling and warping as well.
I bought these glasses because I trusted the brand reputation and premium price point—but I’m left with nothing but regret. Even much older, cheaper glasses I own are still in great condition. I’ve never seen this kind of material failure in any eyewear before.
This is absolutely not the quality anyone expects from Emporio Armani. It’s disappointing to see such a well-known brand deliver a product that deteriorates like this over time. I expected durability, not decay.
