Electrolux Perfectcare 900 Model, Do Not Buy Due to Defects
I bought the best Electrolux Perfectcare 900 series washing machine in 2019. After two years, I extended the warranty for an extra 3+2 years, so now it's covered for a total of 5 years. The warranty extension document number is 1611437. But, the machine smells really bad, like sewage, even though I clean the filters regularly. I told the service about the problem, and they found an issue with the door seal. They said it wasn't covered by the warranty. I paid to have the gasket replaced, but the smell didn't go away. I reached out to the service again three months after getting the gasket replaced. We discovered during a thorough inspection that there are two jet engines in the machine that pump water from the gasket into the machine. The pipes inside these engines get dirty and make the gasket dirty too. It's impossible to clean this because you can't reach the insides of the pipes and gaskets by hand. The technician said that there was a problem with the design, and even if they replaced the gasket, the dirt would come back because water keeps getting pumped into it. Even though they said they would take it seriously in the email, I didn't get any reply. I tried reaching out to customer service, but I didn't have any luck. It looks like they're not supporting their faulty product. If I don't hear back about this complaint, I'll have to take legal action. We thought the product was expensive and really good, but we were wrong. I've seen people complaining about this series too. The service report number is 79665.
