eDreams Refused To Stop Unauthorized Subscription Charges
On January 3, 2026, I started an eDreams Prime free trial membership while purchasing an airline ticket through the eDreams application.
However, after the trial period ended, I was automatically transferred into a yearly subscription plan with monthly payments without any clear approval or confirmation from me.
Today, I realized that my card had been charged twice every month for approximately $11 each time, meaning a total monthly deduction of around $22. I discovered that these payments had been taken from my account for the past four months completely without my knowledge.
When I attempted to cancel the membership through the application, I saw a notice stating that even though I had canceled, I would still continue paying for this yearly package until January 3, 2027.
In other words, despite terminating the membership, the system still presents the remaining future payments as mandatory obligations. I consider this situation both unfair and contrary to consumer rights and legal standards.
The charges were taken from my Yapı Kredi Bank card as two separate monthly deductions of approximately $11 each.
Although I tried contacting the application support and customer service, I could not find any real representative or proper communication channel to report and resolve my issue.
I demand the immediate cancellation of this yearly subscription plan that was activated without my explicit consent, the cancellation of all future charges planned until January 3, 2027, and the full refund of all approximately $11 monthly deductions that were charged twice each month until today.
