eDreams Prime Trial Turned Into Annual Subscription Without Clear Consent

On March 13, 2026, while purchasing a flight ticket through the eDreams website, I was offered the Prime option to benefit from a discount. I selected the 14-day free trial, with the intention of canceling before the trial ended or, at most, paying for a single month if needed. At no point did I see any clear or explicit information stating that I would be entering into a yearly commitment.

Today, on April 8, 2026, when I tried to cancel my subscription, I was shown a message stating: “Your annual membership includes a commitment until March 28, 2027. Canceling now means you will continue to be charged monthly until that date.” I had only seen a monthly fee of $11, and only later realized that I had effectively committed to a $130 annual obligation. The lack of clear and transparent disclosure at the beginning makes me feel misled.

I attempted to contact customer service but could not reach anyone. I did not request or knowingly accept a one-year subscription. I demand that my eDreams Prime membership be canceled immediately and that all charges made or planned under this membership be fully refunded.
