Replacement Part for Dyson Gen5 Vacuum Head Unavailable for Over a Month

I have been waiting for a replacement part for my Dyson Gen5 vacuum head for over a month due to a chronic defect. They keep saying the head for their latest model has been out of stock for a month. I’ve only had the vacuum for 2 months, and I haven't been able to use it for half that time. Every time I call, they just tell me to keep waiting. How can the latest model not have replacement heads in stock?
