14 months ago, I purchased the Dyson V8 cordless vacuum cleaner. It worked fine at first, but then the tube connections ripped. I contacted them under warranty, and they replaced the tube. The vacuum normally had a charge that lasted 20-30 minutes. However, it has only been running for 5 minutes for the past two months. My aunt and I both purchased identical devices, but she has had no problems. We use them in roughly the same way. When I contacted the warranty department, they first informed me that the warranty period had expired. Following my persistent arguments, they informed me that if the device is faulty, the warranty period is irrelevant, and it must be repaired. Even after I explained that I used it very carefully, they insisted that it was my fault because I used it in maximum mode. I do not recommend this product because the company does not stand behind it. Why provide a maximum usage feature if using it is discouraged?
