Dyson V15 Keeps Shutting Off and I Was Told to Pay for Repairs After Warranty

My Dyson V15 vacuum has been shutting off on its own for about a year now due to power interruptions. At first, it only happened once or twice, so I didn’t think much of it, but now it’s occurred seven times, and I can no longer use the device. I contacted Dyson customer service, and they told me to clean the machine, saying the issue might be caused by that. Even though I explained I had just cleaned it, they still insisted I clean it again. After doing so and calling back, they told me the warranty had expired four months ago. But I bought the device on January 28—how can it be four months past the warranty? I explained that I didn’t start using it right away and that the issue had been going on for a long time, but they still refused to help. They asked for ₺5600 for the repair because the warranty had just expired. This is not a user error—they even admitted that this issue happens often. They told me it’s basically a matter of luck and that the lifespan of my unit was just two years. Did I really pay ₺15,000 just to use it for two years?

It was of no benefit at all; even though I stated that it was a chronic issue, they demanded payment again. Please be aware that it only has a 2-year lifespan before spending a fortune on Dyson and make your decision accordingly.
