Dyson V12 Under-Furniture Adapter Broke in Less Than a Year

Less than a year ago, I bought a Dyson V12 cordless vacuum, expecting durability and quality. However, yesterday the under-furniture adapter suddenly jammed and broke, becoming completely unusable (see attached photo). Shockingly, Dyson’s customer support informed me that this adapter isn't covered by warranty since they consider it an "accessory," even though it came with the vacuum! They sent me a link to purchase a replacement for ₺1,599—outrageously expensive for something that broke through no fault or misuse of my own.

I am stunned and deeply disappointed that Dyson, a global brand known for premium products, doesn't include parts provided in the original package under warranty. I handled this vacuum carefully precisely because of its high price.
