I recently purchased the Dyson V12 cordless vacuum after it gained popularity through PR campaigns. Today, while vacuuming under furniture, the under-furniture adapter attachment got stuck. After searching online, I found many others facing the same issue and receiving inadequate responses from Dyson.
When I contacted customer service, they surprisingly informed me that this specific attachment isn't covered by the warranty and directed me to purchase a new one for ₺1,600. When I asked why, they said, "The machine works without it." I retorted, "Then come vacuum under my furniture," to which they had no response.
I filed a warranty claim, but when they called back, they insisted this part isn't essential for the machine's operation, hence not covered by warranty, and can't be repaired. It seems they don't care that I can't use a feature they emphasized during sales.
After this absurd conversation, I've lost all respect for the brand. I recently bought their Airwrap too and was considering their air purifier next. Now I regret buying both the vacuum and Airwrap. I won't spend ₺1,600 on that part to give Dyson more profit.
