Dyson Gave Me Conflicting Information and Made It Impossible to Use Discounts

The management of Dyson Turkey is truly careless, unresponsive, and uninformed. I’ve purchased a total of three different products from the Dyson brand. When I called customer service about an issue with one of the products, the representative informed me that I could have received a 10% discount on other purchases if I had used a promotion. I explained that I wasn’t aware of such a discount and would have used it had I known. The representative told me to contact them before making any future purchases so they could apply the discount. Later, when I decided to purchase another product, I contacted Dyson customer service again, and this is where the problems began. They said the so-called 10% discount was actually only 5%. When I asked how this could be, they said the previous representative had given me incorrect information. I decided to proceed anyway but encountered a technical issue during the purchase. When I called back later, they informed me that the filter gift promotion I was previously told would last until the end of December was no longer available. When I asked how that was possible, given the previous information, they once again blamed the prior representative for providing incorrect details. I still agreed to purchase the product, but they then asked about the Dyson products I currently owned. After listing my three products, they informed me that I wasn’t eligible for the 5% discount because I already owned three Dyson products. I explained that just two days earlier, I was told I could still use the discount, but they repeated the same excuse: the previous representative had misinformed me. When I asked the customer service agent if they simply didn’t want to sell me the product, they could only respond with, “Unfortunately.” This is an incredibly unprofessional situation for a company like Dyson. Each representative contradicts the previous one, creating a laughable experience. I already own three Dyson products and was planning to buy two more, but now I won’t buy even the smallest item from Dyson again. It seems they operate with the mindset of "if someone buys, they buy; if not, it doesn’t matter." Looking at the complaints about Dyson here, it’s clear that others are also pointing out the same issues—lack of attention and misinformation—and none of these problems seem to be resolved. My purpose in writing this is not because I believe a solution will come, but to inform other consumers about my experience.
