My Dyson corded vacuum caused damage to my parquet floor from the start. Long streaks were left on the living room's new parquet. I was told by customer service that the pneumatic attachment should only be used on carpets. However, not every floor in the house is carpeted, and this information was not provided when the device was purchased. Why did we buy this vacuum in the first place? Furthermore, the attachment cannot move left or right; it can only move forward and backward. It is no longer possible to clean the house in a convenient manner; it not only scratches but also cannot turn in all directions. Under chairs, it is impossible to keep clean. We spent a lot of money on the vacuum cleaner, but we can't use it. I also have a Dyson V8 cordless vacuum with a broken attachment and a discharged battery. Customer service once again stated that the parts are unavailable. I tried to return the corded vacuum because I couldn't use it, but I was turned down. I also asked for the shipment of V8 parts at the same price I saw on the website, plus shipping costs, but I was told that wasn't possible. I believe they are simply holding onto the product in order to raise the price and sell it later. I anticipate a solution to the problem. 'Unfortunately, we don't have it, we can't sell it, we can't, we can't,' they say. Dealing with Dyson, a company that does not support its expensive products, is a complete letdown. We've decided to get in touch with the Consumer Rights Commission.
