Burger King Antalya Airport Does Not Accept QR Code Payments

Burger King at Antalya Airport does not accept QR code payments, which is unacceptable for one of the busiest airports in the world. In today’s environment—especially for iPhone users where QR is often the primary payment method—not being able to pay this way creates a serious inconvenience.
Globally, most people no longer carry physical cards, and digital payment methods like QR are standard. It is surprising and disappointing that a major international brand like Burger King fails to support such a basic and widely used payment option in such a high-traffic location.
When I raised the issue, I was told that the location operates as a franchise and that the payments do not go directly to the main company. However, this explanation does not justify the lack of service. A brand with such strong global recognition should ensure that its franchise operations meet modern payment standards, especially in critical locations like airports.
I expect Burger King to address this issue by ensuring QR payment support at Antalya Airport and to review how its franchise operations are managed so that customers do not face such limitations.
