I was flying my DJI Avata when it suddenly lost control, despite me actively piloting it. Without warning, it veered off its intended path and got stuck next to a window, where it began spinning at maximum thrust. The sound it produced was unbearable—easily reaching around 200 dB, which was both dangerous and alarming.
This kind of uncontrolled behavior is unacceptable from a product at this level. I had no control during the incident, and there was no obstacle detection alert or system correction to prevent the crash. The drone’s autonomous systems failed entirely, putting both my property and personal safety at risk.
DJI, I’m officially submitting a complaint and request that this issue be urgently investigated and resolved. I expect either a replacement or full repair, and more importantly, an explanation of how such a serious malfunction occurred.
