DistroKid Invalid Payment Details Error Blocking Withdrawal
I am writing to report an ongoing payment issue with DistroKid related to my withdrawals via local bank transfer from Tanzania. For several months, my payouts have been rejected with the message that my payment details are invalid, even though my bank information is 100% correct. I had been receiving payments successfully to this same local bank account in January, February and March. Starting from April, my withdrawals began to be blocked with the “invalid paydetails” error, and since then the problem has continued. At this point, a total of 1,300 USD in earnings is stuck and I cannot access my money. I have contacted DistroKid support about this issue, but instead of solving the problem they have been ignoring me and not providing a meaningful response or solution, even though this situation has been going on for around three months. I request that DistroKid urgently fix the “invalid paydetails” error on my account and immediately wire the full amount of 1,300 USD to my local bank account, as they did successfully in the previous months. I also expect a clear explanation of why my details were suddenly rejected after several successful payments and assurance that this will not happen again in the future.
