I Got a Sensor Error on My Dexcom G7 After 3 Days and Had to Wake My Son at Night

We’ve only been using the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor for three days, and it already failed on us—right in the middle of the night. The sensor gave an error with no warning, which forced us to wake up my son from his sleep just to remove the faulty one and install a new sensor.
This is unacceptable, especially considering how much we pay for this device. When you're investing this kind of money into a critical medical tool, you expect reliability—not for it to crash in the middle of the night. The stress, the sleep interruption, and the hassle of dealing with defective equipment are not what any parent should be going through.
I’m urgently requesting a free replacement sensor to make up for this defective one. Dexcom, you need to ensure your products are dependable—especially for children. Please address this issue immediately. We rely on this device to keep our child safe.
