I Got the Wrong Flight Date on My Corendon Ticket and They Refused Full Refund
On November 8, 2024, I purchased a ticket via Corendon Airlines’ official website for a flight from Antalya to London Stansted on November 15, 2024 at 08:00 AM. I carefully entered all my personal details and selected the correct date and time for my trip. I then proceeded to the payment page and was asked to pay ₺3,260, which I did after receiving a confirmation code.
To my shock, when I received the ticket by email, it was for May 13, 2025 at 08:00 AM, not the date I had selected. I immediately called Corendon’s customer service and explained the error. The representative casually told me that there was no flight on November 15 and that their "AI system booked the next available date automatically." This explanation is outrageous. I didn’t ask for the next available date—I chose my date intentionally.
I requested a full refund, but was told I would only get €18, which is insulting. When I followed up again on May 8, 2025, and once more on May 13, the compensation amount was raised slightly to €33—still far below what I paid and completely unfair.
This is not my fault. The mistake was clearly on Corendon's end—whether due to a system glitch or poor interface design—but they’re refusing to refund my full payment. I feel completely taken advantage of and ignored. I am demanding a full refund for a ticket I never intended to buy, and I ask Corendon to take responsibility for their error and stop pushing the consequences onto customers. What legal options do I have to recover my money?
