On April 23, 2026, I purchased a pair of Converse Chuck 70 shoes, size 43, from the Converse store located in Forum Diyarbakır Shopping Mall. In less than three months, and after wearing the shoes only 10 to 15 times, the inner side of the right shoe developed tears. In addition, noticeable discoloration appeared on the inside of both shoes. I first noticed these problems approximately two months after purchasing the product.

I purchased the shoes while I was in Diyarbakır for work, but I currently reside in Konya. Before submitting a warranty claim, I reviewed complaints from other customers regarding the same brand and found that many reported similar issues. I also noticed that many warranty inspections reportedly concluded that such problems were caused by user error. Because of these experiences shared by other consumers, I was discouraged from initiating the standard inspection process.

Considering the very limited amount of use and the short period of time before these defects appeared, I believe the tearing and discoloration are the result of a manufacturing or product quality defect, not normal wear or misuse.

I respectfully request that my Converse Chuck 70 shoes be inspected and that, if the defects are confirmed, they be replaced with a new pair. I also ask that my complaint be handled with customer satisfaction in mind and that this matter be resolved fairly and promptly.

On April 23, 2026, I purchased a pair of Chuck 70 model Converse shoes from the Converse store inside Forum Diyarbakır Mall, paying 4,349.25 TL. It was explicitly stated that the product has a 2‑year warranty. However, despite using the shoes regularly and normally, before even reaching the third month the rear inner part of the shoe began to open, and it is now at an uncomfortable level.

In addition, this Chuck 70 shoe—one of Converse’s most popular models—produces a constantly irritating noise while walking, and this situation seriously reduces both my comfort of use and the satisfaction I derived from the product.

When I examined the complaints about the same brand on Şikayetvar, I saw that in similar cases the requests were rejected by labeling them as “user error,” so I have not yet approached the store or Converse customer service. I do not find it fair for a shoe that became like this in a short time, especially one that is said to be under warranty.

I request that the shoe be examined under warranty, with the acknowledgment that there is no user error, and that both the opening in the rear inner part and the noise while walking be considered defects, and accordingly my request for a product exchange or refund be fulfilled. I ask that the process be evaluated truly objectively and in favor of the consumer, rather than an automatic rejection as “user error” when I submit my claim.
