Converse Chuck 70 Fell Apart in Less Than Six Months

On January 12, 2026, we purchased a pair of Converse Chuck 70 Fire shoes from Saha Mağazacılık for our son. Before even six months had passed, the sole at the front of the right shoe began separating, the printed outer coating started peeling off, and the inner lining around the heel tore and came apart. A casual sneaker used under normal everyday conditions should not deteriorate this severely in such a short period, especially considering the level of quality we expected from a brand like Converse.

We paid approximately $84 for the shoes, originally ₺3,974.25, based on the current exchange rate. We shipped the product back to the company on July 6, 2026, requesting either a refund or a replacement. However, in its written response dated July 23, 2026, the company claimed that there was no manufacturing or material defect and rejected our request on the grounds of alleged user error. I do not accept that shoes used normally by my son could deteriorate this badly because of misuse.

I respectfully request that the shoes be recognized as a defective product due to the extensive damage that developed within such a short period. I request either a full refund of approximately $84, originally ₺3,974.25, or, at minimum, replacement of the shoes with a brand-new pair. I also ask that the product be examined again through a detailed, objective, and impartial review process and that our complaint be resolved promptly.
