Skechers Sneaker Heel Tear Issue - Rapid Wear After Minimal Use
On October 5, I purchased a pair of sneakers from the Skechers store for approximately ₺7,000, and even though I only wore them 4–5 times, the inner heel area began to tear and became severely deformed. A shoe at this price point deteriorating so quickly both surprised me and left me let down. I had experienced a similar issue with Skechers before as well. I sent the shoes for inspection through the store, and with request number 15-3715, I received a message stating that no manufacturing defect was found and that my request could not be approved. I never claimed there was definitely a manufacturing issue, but it is unacceptable for the inner heel of a barely worn shoe to tear under normal use. Despite this, blaming the problem on “user error” and placing the responsibility on me has further shaken my trust in the brand. I request that the brand stand behind this product, that the inspection be reassessed in favor of the customer, and that the shoes be replaced or, if possible, refunded. I kindly ask that this negative experience be resolved promptly and that the necessary care be taken to prevent similar issues from happening to others.
