Citibank Keeps Reopening a Debt I Paid in 2010—I Demand It Be Cleared Permanently

I fully paid off a Citibank debt back in 2010 through their appointed attorney. Despite this, the same debt keeps resurfacing every few years—as if I never paid it. I was told the file had been officially closed, yet the lawyer who handled my payment recently informed me that enforcement proceedings have been opened again.

I’ve tried calling Citibank to get answers, but I can’t reach anyone. No one picks up the phone. This ongoing issue is affecting me deeply—it's stressful, frustrating, and completely unacceptable.

I have the right to peace of mind after settling my debt over a decade ago. If this continues, I’ll take legal action. Citibank, stop dragging this out and clear my name permanently. I expect my file to be officially closed and this harassment to end now.
