I Can’t Stop the Radio from Auto-Playing on My Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max
Every single time I start my Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, the radio turns on automatically, without my input. Even worse, sometimes both the radio and Android Auto launch at the same time, overlapping audio sources and creating a chaotic, unpleasant experience.
This issue is genuinely frustrating and disruptive—especially when I want a quiet ride or prefer to use my own audio source. I contacted the authorized service center, expecting a fix or at least a software update. But to my surprise, they told me that this behavior is “normal” across all Tiggo 8 Pro Max models.
I refuse to believe that a car of this class can’t offer basic audio control preferences. The driver should have the option to disable auto-play or set their preferred audio source. This isn’t just a minor inconvenience—it’s a design flaw that reflects poorly on the vehicle's user experience.
I’m requesting that Chery addresses this issue with a software update or clear instructions for disabling the auto-play function. I paid for a premium SUV, not for a daily nuisance. Please fix this problem promptly and take customer feedback seriously.
