Chery Tiggo 8 Rear Camera Still Not Replaced After 45 Days
I purchased a Chery Tiggo 8 2.5 months ago, and just one month later, the rear camera stopped working. I immediately reported the issue to the Ankara Mengerler Chery dealership on January 3rd, and they placed an order for a replacement camera.
However, 45 days have passed, and I am still waiting for the part to arrive. For the past 1.5 months, I have been struggling to park this large vehicle in tight spaces without a rear camera. This issue is a known defect in Tiggo 8 models, yet Chery has failed to stock replacement parts, leaving customers waiting for months.
On top of this, I’ve heard of other common problems with this model, such as taillight darkening, steering wheel peeling, and multimedia screen freezing. If a simple camera replacement takes 45 days, what happens when a more serious issue arises? Even when I order items directly from China, they arrive in 15 days or less—so why does Chery take over a month and a half for a basic replacement?
I urge Chery Türkiye to take immediate action, investigate this unacceptable delay, and improve parts availability. Damaging the brand’s reputation over simple repair issues makes no sense! I have owned seven different cars before, and I have never had to wait this long for a part. Chery, fix this now!
