I started a 3-day free trial in the CamScanner app. Although it was stated that I would be notified at the end of the trial period, I did not receive any notification or warning. Because of this, I did not realize the trial had ended, and on December 18, I later discovered that $8 was charged to my account without my knowledge or explicit consent. I had no intention of continuing with a paid subscription.
I did not make any purchase within the app, nor did I manually provide my card information. The payment was processed through the card registered to my Apple account without my clear and informed consent. As a result, I have suffered financial harm and feel misled.
Regarding this issue, I contacted CamScanner support via email at s******@pdfhouse.com, but so far I have not received a response that resolves the problem. I believe the charge made immediately after the trial period, without my approval, is unfair, and I request a full refund of the $8 taken from my card.
I kindly ask that the necessary review be conducted, that the refund be issued as soon as possible, and that I be informed in writing about the outcome.
