Bybit Support Refused My Personal Data Request

I’m writing to strongly urge a reconsideration of your collaboration with Bybit, specifically its Turkey division (Bybit TR), due to a serious issue I encountered with their in-app customer support. I requested information about my personal data, which users are explicitly entitled to under Article 7 of their own Privacy Disclosure Statement. Despite this, the support team told me, “We can’t provide any details,” which is a direct violation of my rights as a user.
Worse yet, when I questioned their process, I was told:
“You’ve submitted documents to the Legal and Compliance team. If it wasn’t appropriate, you shouldn’t have sent them.”
And shockingly, a support agent actually said:
“You should’ve never worked with Bybit TR in the first place.”
This response was not only dismissive—it was blatantly rude and unprofessional. They effectively blamed me for trusting their platform, and offered no resolution.
I have all relevant screenshots and documented proof of these exchanges and am willing to share them.
If this is how Bybit TR treats users—violating data transparency laws, mocking customer concerns, and shrugging off accountability—then it’s time to re-evaluate your association with them. I strongly recommend that you discontinue any partnership with Bybit TR unless they take immediate steps to comply with user rights and implement proper customer service standards.
