Burger King's Bad Service And Uncaring Attitude
On 8/26/26 I went through the drive‑thru at Burger King Store 1536 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and ordered two Whoppers with cheese. One was supposed to be without tomato, and the second was supposed to be with no onion and no lettuce. The first sandwich still had tomato on it, and the second one came with no onion and no tomato, so both sandwiches were prepared incorrectly. On top of that, I did not receive the Whopper Wednesday price and was charged full price, as shown on my receipt. Because I went through the drive‑thru, I did not realize the mistakes until after I had left and was not able to check the food on the spot. I called the restaurant and was only told that “they must have pushed a wrong button” with no real apology and no attempt to make it right with a replacement or any other gesture. I have difficulty eating and only have a burger about once a week, so I had really been looking forward to this meal, which makes the experience especially disappointing. I am requesting that Burger King compensate me with at least the advertised two free Whoppers or an equivalent solution, considering that both sandwiches were wrong and I was also charged the full, non‑promotional price.
