Burger King Mobile Order Charged but Whopper Not Received
On August 11, 2026 at approximately 9:02 p.m., I placed a mobile order through the Burger King app for a Whopper at the Leland, NC location, which totaled $4.95 and was successfully charged. When I arrived, I was informed that they did not have the order available. I was then directed to the Shallotte, NC location, but the order had gone to the wrong place and the staff told me I needed to cancel it in the app. However, there was no option in the app to cancel the order, and the employees stated that they had not been trained on how to handle this situation in any other way. I called Burger King customer service and was told to contact the 888 customer care number, but when I called, I only reached a voicemail message saying no one was available. I have therefore been left charged for an order I could not receive and without any effective support. I request that my $4.95 charge for this Whopper mobile order be fully refunded as soon as possible and that this issue with handling misplaced or unfulfilled app orders be reviewed so that other customers do not experience the same problem.
