Avis-Budget Montenegro Fails to Refund €264 Security Deposit to Debit Card

I rented a Skoda Scala vehicle from the Avis-Budget desk listed as Budget on Booking.com at Montenegro Podgorica Airport for the period between May 22, 2026, and May 28, 2026. Upon picking up the vehicle, a €500 security deposit was requested; however, since the transaction could not be processed via credit card, this amount was directly charged to my debit card in local Turkish Lira currency.

Although the deposit refund date appeared in the system as June 25, no refund has been credited to my account despite a significant amount of time passing since then. Because the transaction was made using a debit card, I was specifically informed that a partial deposit refund of €264.16 would be issued, yet even after nearly two months, this amount has still not been deposited into my account.

I am experiencing hardship due to both the prolonged retention of my entire deposit and the fact that the promised partial refund of €264.16 remains unpaid. I demand that the €264.16 refund be processed without any additional deductions via the original payment method and credited to my account as soon as possible.
