Booking.com Car Rental Deposit Refund Delay From Sicily by Car

On September 24, 2025, I rented a car through Booking.com from Sicily by Car at Lisbon Airport. During vehicle pickup, a €250 security deposit was charged to my credit card. However, even though I returned the vehicle without any issues, the deposit has still not been refunded to my card after several months.
Since September, I have contacted both Booking.com and the rental company multiple times, but I have not received any clear or satisfactory explanation. In addition, when I try to log into the system, my PIN and reservation code are not accepted, which prevents me from properly tracking the process or reaching the right support channels.
I have all reservation and contract documents available. I request that my €250 deposit be refunded to my credit card without further delay, and that the issue preventing access with my PIN and reservation code be resolved so I can properly follow the case.
