Buddy.ai Charged Me Without Renewal Notice
On July 22, 2025, I purchased approximately a six-month membership through Buddy.ai. Without any notification or my explicit consent, my membership was automatically renewed on January 21, 2026, and $11 was charged to my credit card under the description “Buddy ai Kids.”
At the time of subscription, I was not clearly and transparently informed about automatic renewal. In addition, I did not receive any email, SMS, or other type of reminder prior to the renewal. When I tried to contact the company through the app or other channels, I was unable to find any accessible contact information.
Because this charge was made without my knowledge or authorization, I request a refund of the $11 that was wrongfully charged and the immediate cancellation of my Buddy.ai membership.
