Skyscanner Rental Car Disaster: Flex To Go Charged Me €220 for a €20 Fine

November 1, 2025 11:46 PM9

Between May 18–25, 2025, I rented a car at Stuttgart Airport from the company Flex To Go through Skyscanner. During the rental process, my credit card information was taken for potential traffic fines. However, they charged my credit card for traffic fines that do not belong to me—fines issued on different dates for completely different license plates.

First, they charged €220 for a fine that was only €20, and then they charged an additional €23.5. I have receipts and all related correspondence showing these transactions. For a long time, the company did not respond to me. After I stated that I would file a complaint, they admitted it was a mistake, but they still have not offered any solution or refunded the unjust charges.

Through Skyscanner, I request that Flex To Go refund the wrongful charges for traffic fines that do not belong to me as soon as possible.
