I am absolutely outraged and I demand immediate action from both Booking.com and VakıfBank! On June 14, 2025, at 6:32:18 PM, my credit card was illegally charged 5,016 KRW by "BKG*Hotel" through Booking.com. This transaction occurred without my knowledge, my consent, or any verification code. My credit card information was clearly compromised and used fraudulently.
What's even more shocking is that VakıfBank didn't even send me an approval message for this transaction, which is a significant security failure on their part. Because this happened over the weekend, my bank is refusing to process anything over the phone, forcing me to wait until Monday to take further action. I've already canceled my cards to prevent any further unauthorized charges.
This is a serious issue that both Booking.com and VakıfBank are responsible for. Booking.com allowed a fraudulent entity to process a charge through their platform, and VakıfBank failed to flag or prevent an unauthorized transaction on my account. I expect both companies to fully investigate this fraudulent activity, identify how my card information was compromised, and ensure my 5,016 KRW is immediately refunded. This is unacceptable, and I demand a swift resolution!
