On March 22, I made a reservation through Booking.com, and the total cost clearly stated on my confirmation was ₺4,711.95. However, when I checked my bank statement, I was charged ₺5,335.95—a significant and unexplained difference.
I immediately reached out to Booking.com via email to understand what happened, but I haven’t received any response. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating, especially from a company I trusted with my travel plans.
Is the extra charge due to hidden fees, a currency conversion issue, or is my bank at fault? I can’t get any clarity from either side. I shouldn’t have to chase down my own money like this.
