I Got Overcharged on Booking.com – Price Jumped from €242 to €330

I recently made a hotel reservation through Booking.com and was shocked by a major pricing issue. During the booking process, the accommodation cost was clearly displayed as €242. However, when I reached the payment stage, the total amount suddenly changed to €330—with no warning, no explanation, and no visible breakdown. I felt forced to confirm the payment just to secure my booking, but this price hike caught me completely off guard.
There was absolutely no clear notice or transparency about this increase, which is unacceptable. Booking.com should not allow price changes to go through without notifying the user. This kind of pricing behavior raises serious concerns about both consumer rights and platform trust.
I demand a full investigation into this matter, a clear explanation of the price difference, and a refund of the excess charge if no valid reason is found. This needs to be addressed immediately.

Thank you, a refund was issued for the entire amount I paid.
