Booking.com Wrong Email Preventing Reservation Access and Refund
I recently made a reservation through Booking.com at Amber Econtel in Munich for 2–4 July in the name of Fraser W***. While making the booking, I accidentally entered the wrong email address. I registered the reservation with “fraser84w***@hotmail.com”, but my correct email address is “fraser84w***@outlook.com”. Because the email I used does not exist, I cannot log in to Booking.com or access my reservation. The hotel informed me that all changes and cancellations must be handled through Booking.com, but I am unable to complete any online process because the system is linked to the wrong email. At the end of every step I am asked to use the same (incorrect) email, which makes it impossible for me to manage, modify or cancel the booking, even though this was an honest mistake when entering my email. The amount of £287.97 has already been taken from my TSB debit card. I urgently request that Booking.com locates this reservation and takes two concrete actions. First, I need the email address on both my Booking.com account and this specific reservation to be changed from “fraser84w***@hotmail.com” to my correct email “fraser84w***@outlook.com”, so that I can properly access my account and future bookings. Second, I request that this reservation at Amber Econtel Munich be cancelled and that a full refund of £287.97 be issued back to my TSB debit card. I am sharing the booking confirmation screenshot and reservation number to help you identify the reservation and quickly correct my email address, cancel the booking and process my refund.
