Booking.com Reservation Failed Because Hotel La Praia Was Overbooked
I had a reservation through Booking.com at Hotel La Praia for the dates May 22–25. When I arrived at the hotel for check-in, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and they could not accommodate me, even though I had a valid reservation. Because of this, I had to urgently book another hotel on my own. After this incident, I contacted both the hotel/Booking.com but I did not receive a satisfactory answer or solution. I was left to deal with the situation by myself, despite having relied on the confirmed reservation. Due to the overbooking and the inconvenience caused, I request a refund of 250 euros as compensation for the additional costs and trouble I had to bear.
