I booked a stay at a hotel in Ulcinj, Montenegro through Booking.com. After my stay, I left a review on the platform stating that the hotel was not located on the seafront as advertised. Following this, I began receiving insulting and threatening messages from the hotel through both my social media account and my WhatsApp number.
The harassment escalated further—I was even threatened with death when I tried to call the hotel directly. This intimidation has been ongoing for nearly three weeks. At one point, the hotel even called me again, but I did not answer out of fear.
I reported the situation to Booking.com customer service. Their response was that I should “ignore it” and that they had contacted the hotel. Despite this, the harassment has continued, and I still receive threats. My reservation number is 5903****35.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of protection and support from Booking.com. As a customer, I expect the platform to take stronger action against hotels that intimidate and threaten guests.
I demand that Booking.com investigate this matter properly, ensure my safety is not compromised, and prevent such abusive behavior from being repeated against other travelers.
