Booking.com Hotel Cancellation Issue – No Refund Despite Free Cancellation


I booked a hotel in Skopje through Booking.com, which was clearly listed as having a free cancellation policy. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled, and I had no choice but to cancel the reservation. However, the hotel now refuses to refund my money, claiming that my booking wasn’t eligible for free cancellation. They told me to resolve the issue with Booking.com, but Booking.com’s customer service is completely unresponsive—no replies, no resolution. This is unacceptable! I paid for a service under specific terms, and now both the hotel and Booking.com are ignoring their own policies. I demand a full refund immediately. Booking.com needs to take responsibility and ensure that customers are not deceived like this!
