Booking.com Didn’t Refund Me After My Leiden Hotel Canceled Last Minute

I made a hotel reservation in Leiden, Netherlands through Booking.com, but when I arrived in the city, I was shocked to learn the hotel had canceled my booking without any prior notice. I was left scrambling on the day of my arrival to find a last-minute place to stay, which was extremely stressful and difficult.

Booking.com had promised to refund the original reservation fee and even cover the price difference for the alternative hotel. I submitted all the required documents, including the new hotel invoice, exactly as requested. But it’s been weeks, and I still haven’t received any refund—neither for the canceled booking nor for the extra cost I had to pay.

This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. Booking.com, you failed to uphold your promise and left me to deal with the consequences. I demand that you issue my full refund immediately and cover the additional amount I was forced to spend due to your partner hotel's cancellation. Do the right thing and resolve this now.
