Booking.com Did Not Honor Confirmed Room Rate at Durga Residency

I made a booking through Booking.com for a non-AC room at Durga Residency in Tirupati for one day, from 22 to 23 February, at a tariff of Rs. 850. The booking was made on 2 December 2025. The reservation was in my husband’s name, Arthanareeswaran, and we also had your confirmation email as proof of the reservation and amount. When we arrived at Durga Residency today, I showed a xerox copy of the Booking.com confirmation email to the hotel. However, the hotel asked me to pay the full room rent again, even though the confirmation clearly mentioned the room rate. I received no clear information or support from Booking.com at that moment, and I had no option but to pay the amount to the hotel in order to stay there. I kindly request that Booking.com refund the money I paid to Durga Residency for this booking, as I had already booked the room through your platform and followed all the instructions given in your confirmation email.
