We made a reservation through Booking.com for The Clermont London, Charing Cross Hotel for three people, with stay dates of December 12–15, 2025. Due to unavoidable circumstances, we had to postpone our trip and requested to change the reservation dates to August 21–24, 2026. Even though the hotel prices for the new dates are significantly lower, we are not requesting any refund or price difference—we are only asking for a date change.
When we contacted the hotel directly, they confirmed that a date change is possible on their end, but stated that Booking.com must contact them in order to process the change. Following this, I contacted Booking.com multiple times through the “manage booking” section in the app and via email. However, since there is no phone support, I have been unable to reach a direct representative.
Booking.com initially redirected me to the hotel, while the hotel stated that the issue must be handled entirely through Booking.com. For days, I have been sent back and forth between the two parties. For the past two days, I have received no response at all from Booking.com, even though the original travel date is now only two days away. Despite the simplicity of the request, the date change has still not been completed. I am requesting that the price remain the same and that only the reservation dates be updated to August 21–24, 2026.
My reservation confirmation number is 676624**. I kindly request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible and that I receive a clear and written response.
