On September 1, 2026, I took a ride in Kartal, Istanbul through the BiTaksi app. Even though I clearly and explicitly told the driver which route to take, he chose his own route and unnecessarily extended the trip. A ride that should normally cost around $6 ended up costing me $8 in cash.
Because he did not follow the route I specified and charged me an excessive fare, I was unfairly treated. I request that this issue be resolved, that the overcharged amount be refunded, and that the necessary investigation be conducted regarding the driver.
