Sudden BiGaia Probiotic Recall Leaves My Infant Without Essential Gas Relief
I had been using BiGaia drops for my baby for some time, and they were working remarkably well. However, the company recalled all BiGaia products, and I was confronted with this situation right as my remaining bottle ran out. Because it is a probiotic, I had deliberately chosen not to buy extra in advance to stock up.
I purchased my last bottle about a month ago from a pharmacy in central Uşak, and for the past week, I have been unable to find stock anywhere. During this time, I tried alternative products, but none yielded the same results, and my child is currently squirming in pain from severe gas colic.
Had an advance notice been issued regarding a product recall or manufacturing issue, I would have stocked up beforehand. I want to know why there are continuous manufacturing and inventory problems. I demand that BiGaia drops be urgently reproduced and restocked in pharmacies, and that a clear explanation regarding this entire situation be provided.
