On June 18, 2024, I purchased Biogaia Gas Drops from a pharmacy, trusting it would help relieve my baby’s colic and gas pain. However, to my shock and disappointment, the product made the situation much worse. Every time I gave the drops to my baby, the gas pains increased significantly. She cried more, struggled longer, and was clearly more uncomfortable.
When I stopped giving the drops, her symptoms were actually easier to manage. On one occasion, she cried in pain from 1 AM to 6 AM, which was heartbreaking to witness. Why would something that’s supposed to ease gas pain intensify it instead?
Not only was my baby’s sleep and comfort disrupted, but I also paid a high price for a product that did the opposite of what it promised. I am now questioning the safety and effectiveness of this formula. I expect an explanation from the company and a resolution to this issue. No parent should have to see their child suffer more because of a product they trusted.
