On October 5, 2025, I purchased BioGaia drops for gas pain based on a doctor’s recommendation (expiration date: 03/2026). I used the product for the first time, and within a few hours, my baby developed severe pain, intense cramping, and diarrhea, symptoms we had never experienced before. My baby cried uncontrollably for about four hours and was very difficult to calm down. Only after abdominal massage and using a different drop did my baby finally get some relief.
Because of this experience, I became extremely worried and distressed. I have not yet contacted the pharmacy or the manufacturer, but I believe that this product should be urgently recalled from the market. I ask that the relevant authorities immediately investigate this issue so that other families do not experience the same harm and distress.
