Biogaia Drops Sold Without Proper Storage—Caused Discomfort for My Baby
My doctor recommended Biogaia drops for my baby’s gas pains, saying it was the best option due to its vitamin D and probiotics. Wanting the best for my child, I paid ₺700 for it at İzmit Gümüş Pharmacy.
However, the pharmacy never mentioned the required storage conditions and simply handed me a bottle from the back shelf. The packaging states that Biogaia must be stored at -8°C before opening and can stay at room temperature for only four weeks after opening—but this was completely ignored.
The very first time we used it, my baby’s face turned red from crying, and he couldn’t sleep for more than 10 minutes. I bought this product to help, and instead, it was a waste. This product should be recalled immediately if it’s being mishandled in pharmacies!
