I Lost ₺1600 Worth of Crypto in My Binance Global Wallet — Balance Suddenly Zero
I need urgent help. My wallet on Binance Global, which previously held approximately ₺1600 worth of cryptocurrency, now shows a balance of zero. I have no idea how or why this happened. I haven’t made any withdrawal or transaction that would justify this sudden disappearance of funds. It just reset — everything is gone.
This situation is extremely stressful, and I feel completely helpless. I rely on Binance as a secure platform for trading and storing crypto, but this experience has severely shaken my trust. I’m asking for clear answers: Why did my balance vanish? Is there a technical issue, or has something more serious happened?
I have no idea where to report this or how to escalate the matter. Customer support has not responded to my initial messages. I need Binance to urgently investigate this issue and help me recover my funds. This is not a small amount, and I deserve transparency and prompt action. If there’s any Binance support representative reading this — please contact me immediately. I’m ready to provide all necessary account details for verification.
I spoke with live support, someone sold me a fake coin, an empty coin, and they told me to go to the police. What I don't understand is how someone can put a fake coin on a platform like Binance and sell it, and the system allows us to buy it—do you think this structure is reliable?‼️ Isn't Binance at fault here, there is a security vulnerability‼️ I will never trade on Binance again... I trusted Binance, I bought a coin from the system, and scammers are running rampant inside Binance, shame on them.

Binance exchange and the decentralized Binance Wallet you are using are different platforms. The assets you mentioned are not listed on Binance. So should I write a complaint for Binance wallet... I opened this wallet through Binance... who am I supposed to contact then?
Hello Sevim Ö. Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. Were you directed to invest in this product by people you met through social media? Since investments made in decentralized systems are outside of supervision, malicious individuals use the allure of high returns to lure people into traps. The best way to avoid falling for such scams is to treat any social media message or email claiming you have won a reward with suspicion. Remember, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. What is a Honeypot? A honeypot is a scam used in the crypto industry to trap victims and steal their assets or sensitive information. Honeypots involve setting up a fake website or wallet that appears legitimate but is designed to attract and deceive careless users. For example, a scammer may create a fake wallet or a manipulated smart contract. After victims deposit money or provide personal information, the scammer can steal their assets and disappear. The fake site is a honeypot that encourages victims to interact with a platform that looks like a legitimate one but is actually a trap. We strongly recommend that you report this situation to the legal authorities directed via live support. We are always ready to help regarding Binance services. Gi Binance team
Hello, I am using Binance for the first time. From the comments I read, I thought it would be safer to get a wallet, so I got a wallet, but this scammed me. It has nothing to do with Ran (patron crypto); the person suggested a coin in the group and shared a link, so we bought from there. Isn't there a system error here? For an empty coin, it could have said 'such a coin cannot be bought' or not allowed it... So, where should we use when making transactions on Binance?
Hello again, Ms. Sevim, Cryptocurrencies are digital and traceable assets on decentralized blockchain systems. There are two types of platform systems to purchase these assets: One is centralized exchanges (for example, the exchange you see on the Spot purchase page). On these centralized exchanges, after opening an account and completing identity verification, you can perform buy, sell, and swap transactions within the system of the exchange, without any record on the blockchain. The second type of platform is decentralized exchanges (for example: dApps). To buy, sell, and swap on decentralized exchanges, you connect your personal wallet—controlled only by you and with a private key only you possess—registered on the blockchain, and you trade directly on the blockchain. The moment you transfer assets from your spot wallet to your Wallet (Web3), your assets completely leave your spot wallet and are transferred to your Wallet (Web3), which can only be controlled by you. From that point on, there is no access to these assets. When you perform a transaction on the newly named Wallet, there are constant warnings when transferring, opening the wallet, or connecting to a Dapp, indicating this situation. For more details and support, you can join our live chat using the steps we shared above. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! ^KO Binance Team
