BetterMe Continued Charging My Card After Subscription Cancellation

I downloaded the BetterMe app on my iPhone and, after using it for a short time, I canceled the subscription. Even though I completely deleted the app and believed my subscription had been canceled, charges continued to be taken from my card.

Most recently, I noticed a charge of approximately $8 on my card in January, listed with the description “v*betterme Dubai.” I am no longer using the app, and I had already canceled the subscription. Despite this, the charges continued, which has caused a serious loss of trust and made me feel financially harmed. I was even forced to replace my credit card because of this situation, yet I am still concerned.

I am requesting that BetterMe refund all fees that were unfairly charged to me and that any subscription associated with my account be fully and permanently terminated across all channels, so that no further charges are made to my card. I also request clear, written confirmation and explanation regarding this matter.

I joined the BetterMe app as a guest and started a free 1‑week trial. I did not intentionally create a subscription with any email address, and I deleted the app from my phone before the trial period ended. Nevertheless, I later discovered that regular charges have continued to be taken from my card since November 2025, and I consider this an unjust transaction.

Since I could not cancel the subscription, I had to renew my card. This time, BetterMe has started sending me frequent messages claiming that I have not made a payment. Even if a record was created through my iCloud account, I cannot find any information, record, or cancellation option regarding this subscription on my phone or accounts, so I am unable to terminate it on my own.

I request that BetterMe immediately cancel all subscriptions opened in my name, ensure that no further charges are made, and completely stop the persistent messages sent to me. Additionally, I want all payments taken without my knowledge after the free trial I started as a guest to be reviewed and refunded.

I’m in the same situation, and this honestly feels like a scam. I cancelled my subscription just two weeks after signing up - around 2.5 months before the renewal date. Yet I was still charged for another three-month period. Now they’re asking me to prove I used the app for 7 consecutive days to get a refund! even though I had already cancelled long before the renewal! This is extremely frustrating, and honestly, it really feels like they are scamming people!!!
