Audi Charged Me for a Hidden Defect in My 2017 Q7 Transmission
The vehicle with license plate 35 GE 58**and chassis number WAUZZZ4M6JD001966 is a 2017 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI, purchased new from ERÖZ ELEKTROMEKANİK OTOMATİV SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. It has only been used by the company representative. All maintenance and repairs have been performed at authorized service centers. On 21.08.2023, when the vehicle had 148,123 km, two different warning lights appeared on the dashboard while driving back from Fethiye. After seeing a warning message saying the vehicle could be driven to the service center, the vehicle was carefully driven toward the authorized service. However, the vehicle stopped at a red light. The vehicle was restarted and continued driving. But, before reaching the service center, it kept stopping, and it barely made it to the service center. The repair of the damage to the vehicle required a payment of ₺215,086.81, according to the invoice dated 21.09.2023. In the expert report obtained for the vehicle, it was stated that the malfunction was not due to user error or conditions, but was a hidden defect in the transmission caused by production. Based on this, we requested the payment of ₺215,086.81, plus commercial interest from the date of the notice. In this situation, Audi has caused harm to the customer, and the legal process is ongoing.
