After three years of use, my LCD monitor PG27VQ broke down, and because the warranty had expired, I decided to pay for repairs. The service center charged me 7750 TL for the panel plus a service fee of 250 TL, which I agreed to pay. They gave me an IBAN number, but before I could send the payment, I received an email saying that my product was not covered by the warranty and would be returned unrepaired. They claimed that the product's 5-year supply period had expired, despite the fact that the invoice showed that I purchased it on 21-03-2019, only 4 years ago. Furthermore, despite having spoken with them on the phone for six days, they appeared to be unaware that the panel was faulty and that the 5-year supply period had not yet expired. I had previously expressed my dissatisfaction with Asus products and vowed never to buy from them again, but I had foolishly purchased all of my electronics from them in 2019, which I now regret. I implore anyone thinking about purchasing Asus electronic products to carefully read my cautionary tale. Choose any brand other than Asus. I intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Court because I cannot afford repairs and they have failed to supply the necessary parts in a timely manner. Let us put an end to Asus's deception.
