On April 11, 2024, I purchased a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano 14 shoes from an official Asics store. They were a thoughtful gift from my son, and I only wore them occasionally—certainly not enough to expect any kind of serious wear. But despite this, the inner lining started tearing, which was extremely disappointing given how gently the shoes were used.
On May 1, 2025, I returned to the store and submitted the shoes for inspection. A week later, I was told it was "user error" and the shoes were returned without any repair or replacement offered. I was honestly shocked—how could such limited use cause this kind of internal tearing unless it was a flaw in materials or construction?
Our entire family wears Asics, and this has been our go-to brand for years. But this experience has left me questioning the brand's product durability and customer service commitment.
I still want to believe that Asics will do the right thing and stand behind their product. I’m asking you to reconsider this decision and offer a proper resolution—either through repair, replacement, or refund. A shoe of this price and reputation should not fall apart after minimal use.
